How about that HIVE price, huh!
HIVE/USD:
The move was on the back of huge volumes suddenly rushing into the coin, after Hive was listed on Huobi and the lesser-known MXC.
Like a lot of the STEEM/HIVE community, I'm in the midst of a STEEM power down.
While STEEM's artificial price floor has gifted us a couple of week's power downs under 1:1, it's never going to last if left to the free market.
The value was always with the community, who valued decentralisation and freedom of speech over becoming another business arm of the Sun Empire.
It's worth keeping in mind that Sun obviously has an absolute truckload of STEEM left that he surely has to get rid of, at least partially on market.
How he's going to manage this and come out financially unscathed, I'm not sure.
But the man does seem to have a knack of finding a way to make money!
I'm certainly not going to be underestimating him.
Patience with those STEEM power downs, team.
