Helping to set up and manage a profitable Rabona team.
Rabona is an extremely underrated play-to-earn game that we have here on Hive.
The world is crying out for a good blockchain based football manager game.
All I have ever wanted to see is Hattrick, but players as NFTs and a crypto-based economy behind it all.
But while we have the base of something special in Rabona... I just can’t figure out how to manage a profitable team!
All I want to do is turn my Rabona team into a profitable play-to-earn gaming venture.
So in this blog I’m going to use my own Rabona team as an example, but the real value will be in helping you to set up and manage a profitable Rabona team.
The problem with my Rabona team
After actively playing Rabona for over 12 months now, my team Will FC remains stagnant and the frustration is literally killing me.
On behalf of everyone, I’m putting out an SOS to the gun play-to-earn community that calls Hive home.
Surely I’m not alone in that I can’t seem to turn a significant profit playing Rabona…
So I make roughly 1 million RBN profit per season, but if I am to ever renew the contracts of players I need to win league 2, then I need more.
Making that amount of profit per year, I can’t even afford to renew 1 30K RBN per match contract, let alone a whole team.
I am concerned about a wage bill that means my club starts making losses that I don’t want to prop up with HIVE.
So I just let the contracts expire and my team remains stagnant in mid table.
Searching for more revenue in Rabona
Looking at the financials in the screenshots above, I obviously have a revenue problem.
One source of revenue that I’m not maximising, is my ticket sales.
I only sell 50% of my stadium out.
My ticket prices are almost as low as I can make them, down to 5 RBN, but I’m still not seeing crowds increase.
Why?
Another revenue source that doesn’t deliver no matter what I try, is the profitability of my shop.
Not only have I demolished it all the way back down to level 2, but I’ve also tried to scale prices up and down.
Still however, running costs always outweigh profit.
The questions that remain
With all that in mind, I have 3 questions
-
If I were to win league 2, would a successful team mean higher profits and a sustainable higher wage structure?
-
How can I fill my stadium and increase revenue via ticket sales? - Rock bottom ticket prices aren’t working
-
Why is my shop simply unable to make money even at level 2, no matter what I do to prices?
Please help me level up and ultimately manage a profitable Rabona team.
Best of probabilities to you.
