My Thoughts on the LeoDex V5 Update

Exciting news to wake up to on a Saturday, with the release of LeoDex V5.

I'm all about the little wins that make things easier for every day users who may not be your traditional crypto-tech geeks and this release has a number of those.

A few of which I want to quickly go over below.

HiveSigner

For me personally, HiveSigner integration is the biggest improvement because it means I can actually use the bloody thing.

I've tried to figure out Keychain, but the instructions are just too confusing so was happy to sacrifice the 1% in and out to simply use Hive-Engine.

Until today!

Surely I'm not the only one to be thinking this way and I'm a Hive regular, so this is the most important integration for me.

New Deposit/Withdraw Menu

Being able to finally use LeoDex is exciting for me and the new deposit/withdraw menu looks clean and simple.

But most importantly, look at that low 0.25% fee.

With Hive-Engine still at 1%, this is quite the saving and would be the reason I changed anyway.

I think some marketing needs to be diverted into the Hive community to show that while this is the LeoDex, all layer 2 Hive tokens are able to be traded.

Dark Mode

The following quote the introduction to LeoDex V5 post gave me a chuckle:

"If we got a LEO for every time someone asked us to add Dark Mode to LeoDex, we'd be LEO whales! When you first load up https://leodex.io, you'll immediately notice the dark layout."

You've got loonie-bins in your messages guys, because dark mode is shit.

Instantly flicked back to white, but not stoked that I will have to do this every time I log-in.

Maybe the toggle button could be moved to your account preferences, with your choice saved.

LeoDex V5 Final Thoughts

Overall, a huge improvement that both looks good while also making things easier.

A tasty teaser for the upcoming LeoFinance blogging front-end.
