I spent last night with a group of friends that definitely got caught up in the hype of crypto over Christmas. Even the few that got in earlier than the rest and were true believers are just laughing at it, either having puked the lows or gone.

In a market cycle, this is the definition of dumb money leaving the market and being accumulated by the savvy institutions and funds that are working behind the scenes on crypto related projects.

Remember that while price has been dropping, the underlying industry around crypto, has actually been going gangbusters.
